The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It should be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
